Resident Spotlight: Joseph Gosmano

Connecting with people is the best part of living at Stratford Commons Rehabilitation & Health Care Center for resident Joseph Gosmano. He loves to chat with the staff and listen to residents. There’s a real feeling of family within our Overland Park, Kansas community. Our team members enjoy creating a sense of connection and go out of their way to serve residents like Joseph.

His children recommended our community to Joseph when he was ready for a change of address.

World War II Vet

Joseph fought in the Pacific front during World War II and built houses after leaving the military. “When I first started building houses after the war, they sold for only $2,000,” he said.

He’s most proud of his service in the army and laughs when asked how friends would describe him. He said, “My friends would say ‘I’m full of it’ because I’m always talking.”
